Part 3: Among people (in 1940-1943).
In the occupied areas the Nazi terror affected people differently. In Eastern Europe the population was enslaved, her culture was destroyed and the Holocaust was decided at the Wannsee-conference. For the Jews there should be no more future. In other countries of Europe there were survival strategies which allowed more or less a normal life. That life was contradictory and stamped by obedience, opportunism, degradation and resignation. The opposition formed up only slowly. The amateur films shown here, are mounted like a mosaic and show thus the contradictoriness of this time.
